Darius James is used to making big plays. The former Old Dominion Point Guard and Team Captain from 2007 – 2011, led the ODU Monarchs to back-to-back CAA conference titles, to play in the NCAA tournament. A native of Virginia Beach, VA, Darius earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Higher Education from ODU.

In 2012, Darius turned down offers to play basketball overseas to work in collegiate athletics. From there, Darius has had the opportunity to work at Virginia Commonwealth University, Florida State University, and now back at his alma mater. Currently, Darius has made efforts to speak to aspiring athletes about taking the best route for themselves using the game of basketball. After Hurricane Maria hit in 2017, Darius teamed up with longtime friend, DaSean Webster to host a basketball tournament that would help those hurt by the disaster. From there, 7CH Foundation was born.

As Co-Founder and President, Darius looks to make a difference in underserved communities through the game of basketball.
