Basketball is our way to reach and help the community. On February 29th 2020, we hosted our 3rd annual ‘Ball For a Cause’ charity basketball tournament. With the help of 8 sponsored donors, 80 players and several spectators we donated over 2000 items to the Union Mission Ministries who help house the homeless in the Hampton Roads.
Using basketball to bring a community together is what we did for our 1st Annual College Park Day. We organized a community fun day for the College Park neighborhood in Virginia Beach, VA. Past and present residents got a chance to reunite and enjoy bounce houses, basketball games, music, food, and back packs stuffed with school supplies give away.
Helping the community through hoops is our passion. After great reviews from our first tournament, we decided to officially birth “Ball For A Cause”, our annually holiday b-ball tournament that allows participants to donate to a charity cause & compete on the court.
Our first event came by storm, after Hurricane Maria left thousands without power in Puerto Rico. Due to many of our friends and families living on the island, we organized a b-ball tournament which participants had to donate canned goods and non-perishable items to play. All items were sent to P.R.
